NEW!: The Banyan Grove Collective

Hey!

It's been a while since I wrote one of these last.

I've recently decided that it's time for a change.

New life, new environment, new style.

I've been releasing music & performing live as Gorilla Rotation for collaborative projects with other musicians. Linus Yamaguchi for solo projects.

And now I'm going into the next stage of my music life.

On June 27, 2026, at Bar 036 Pool Party, we'll be performing our last stage as Gorilla Rotation.

Our next colloaborative projects will be called The Banyan Grove Collective!

Banyan, because we have Gajumaru Trees in Okinawa and it has many roots in the ground, Grove because it's going to be the collective home of all these roots.

Banyan Tree (Gajumaru) is symbolic of diffferent people comimg together.

I'm currently writing a new song, actually a few new songs. And one of them will be from The Banyan Grove Collective.
